US stocks S&P,Dow-Jones & NASDAQ end up on a dull note
Industrial and technology shares fell and this fall forced the US stocks like S&P, Dow-Jones & NASDAQ to end up on a dull note. Adding to this, investors stayed on their heels after last week's payrolls figure discouraged buyers. S&P was seen closing at the lowest level yesterday.
Bruce Bittles, chief investment strategist of Robert W. Baird & Co in Nashville said: "You have to break this downside momentum before you can feel comfortable wading into this market."
The Dow-Jones 30-share index dropped 115.48 points to 9,816.49, while the broader based S&P 500 lost 14.41 points to 1,050.47. The tech-heavy NASDAQ Composite indexd dropped 45.27 points to 2,173.90.
